2-Week Assignment
£28 - £32 per hour
Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Lecturer/Trainer to support learners within a busy Further Education College engineering workshop.

This temporary assignment will involve delivering practical workshop sessions to Level 2 Engineering learners, supporting them in the completion of:

• Hand Fitting
• Milling
• Turning

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality practical engineering instruction in a workshop environment.
• Support learners in developing their machining and hand skills.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures at all times.
• Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Relevant Engineering qualification or industry experience.
• Experience working with milling, turning and hand fitting processes.
• Previous teaching, training or assessing experience within Further Education or apprenticeships is desirable.
• Strong communication and learner support skills.
• Enhanced DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain one).
